Default 8 HST at one time

I thought this was interesting. From two 9" squares she makes 8 HST's. http://sewmamasew.com/blog2/2013/01/...s-8-at-a-time/

I bought this tool for marking the fabric to make these. It saves a lot of time and all the sizes are on the tool. Some guild members thought it was foolish to buy but now they ask to borrow it. That really irks me.

I don't remember where I first saw this method. I remember doing this only on a larger scale back in the 80's.I had forgotten about it though.

I think this method would serve our charity quilt group very well - maybe more of our half-square triangles would 'play' together better if we all used this method ...
