I just received an email from Embroidery Library and they have some awesome sewing and quillting related designs on sale at an excellent price. I can see these embroidered on quilt squares to make most anything, runners, wall hanging, throws, quilts, etc. They come in several sizes too so you would have an option for the size of the guilt squires.

Just FYI.....

Yes I like them too, but I haven't had time to do any embroidery in months; too much else going on right now.

They have a free snowball quilted placemat tute that is posted today. Personally, I find their designs very stitch heavy and they are not my first choice...always tend to curl but the ones I have (selectively)bought work for me.

I really like the http://www.emblibrary.com They have different size designs and every format. Another great site is http://embroidery.com I especially like the PJ Designs, in the hoop (multi-hooping designs), Frosty the Starman and "Tree"-mendous, they have been fun to make for gifts.
