Lightbulb How to quilt those large quilts on a DSM

Hi there!

Here is the link that I used http://freemotionquilting.blogspot.c...ang-it-up.html

I used the exact clips, door handles (be sure to get extra long screws) and a couple of different sizes of bungees so you can make adjustments as you quilt.

When I quilt a large quilt, I hook the part that is farthest away from my machine to the bungees.

I hope this helps.

Hmm.... interesting but not sure I'd like all that hardware in plain view. Thanks for the link though, it's fun to see what works for everyone else.

Thank you for the link.
I often thought about doing something like this, little did I know that someone else thought of it first. lol
Now I'm going to do it because if Leah says it works for her, I know it will work for me.

I don't think I would mind the hardware on the ceiling as most people don't come into my sewing room. That is interesting.

Whatever helps/works at helping me get things done and if someone doesn't like it, well as I tell my grands: Its their problem not mine ! LOL
