Default I found a new to me fabric place

I was looking at different fabric places on line and I came across David textiles. There fabric prices are pretty good. The only exception is you have to buy a minimum of 8 yards. They have some nice fabrics in their clearance section starting at $1.25 a yard.

Thank you for the link. Some of the fabric choices are stocked at Walmart, too, if you don't want 8 yards at a time.

Actually I think they are a manufacturer. I'm surprised that they would sell to the general public but it's a great deal if you can get it.

There is a huge fabric store in Anaheim CA called M&L. In their clearance section they have flat folds for around $3 per yard and a lot of them are David Textiles. That’s the only place I’ve seen this brand of fabric. The quality is excellent! And you can’t beat the price. My parents live in Anaheim and every time I visit I always save room in my luggage for fabric lol. ;-)

Some of the fabrics are very pretty. The big turn off for me is the volume that you have to purchase. I don't need 8 yards of any given fabric.

I like this brand and it is pretty affordable for the quality. Some yrs ago they had a patriotic line which was nice for donation quilts.

If you need backing for a queen quilt this might be o.k....but I hate to buy 8 yards of anything at a time.
