Default Fabric Box Tutorial and My Results

I found this adorable tutorial for boxes made of fabric, and thought they would be perfect for my dear sister-in-law's birthday.

http://seaside-stitches.blogspot.com...-tutorial.html

I made a 12" and a 14". The 14" is a much nicer size, and there was less wrestling with the fabric. I don't think I would ever do one smaller than 12" unless I used a lower loft batting. They only took about an hour each to make, so it's a great quick project. Hers definitely look "crisper" than mine, but I'm pretty happy with the result.

What a cool idea. I am making some raffle pieces for some fun at work and these little boxes would be perfect in Halloween material, filled with candy. Thanks for the link. This is sort of meant to be, just when I was looking for something different!

Those are sure cute! Thanks for sharing the pattern, can't wait to make a few!

Now on the 14" what size did you do in the corners? It seem that she did 2" in the 10" and 2 1/2" in the 12" so I'm wondering if for every even inches you would either add or subtract a 1/2 inch?
