A friend called to say that Marshall's in Batesville, AR is having a warehouse sale through the end of April. The warehouse is in a building adjacent to the store. All types of fabrics are available and you have to purchase whatever is left on the bolt. Sale price is $1.00 per pound. One of the bolts they bought has some discoloration toward the end, but still well worth the price.

There 's about 2 or 3 blocks going to the store that has absolutely beautiful Victorian Homes - some are being renovated, some need to - it justs makes ones mind wander to a simpler time.

Within Batesville, we stayed at the Comfort Inn Suites which was very nice. It's about 1 mile from Marshalls.
