What an inspired idea - good even for non reversable quilts.

The only problem with that idea is - I have seen many antique quilts where the binding get the most handling and is the first part to wear and fray. Her name and date is going to wear away far before the rest of the quilt does.

I love this idea. Beside binding labeling is not my favorite part of quilting
