I know, you're thinking...another article about this machine!!!
Well, I had to share this for any of you who may be contemplating a new machine. Leah Day wrote a great article on her blog about this machine and here is the link to it

Thanks for the link, I must admit I have my eye on the Horizon! I am so happy with my current Janome, but that big throat space on the Horizon has my attention!

Has anyone recently acquired a Horizon? I'm thinking about getting one because it's so much less expensive than a Bernina. Do you get used to the stitch dial? For those who've had a Horizon for a while, how does it hold up?

Thank you for any feedback!

I don't like the stitch selector, and as far as script is concerned it is so frustrating - give my old Janome 4800 any time. I think they have gone too far in refinements - they are not all improvements! So I am very disappointed in my 7700- I thought it would be the greatest, but no! Also the convertor plate has given no end of trouble - been replaced 3 times! anngi

Ohhhh .... thanks for the info, so hate to hear this. Seems like I've heard as many cons as pros. Maybe the rest of us need to wait until the 7700 gets the BUGS worked out. Always seems to happen, my friend bought the Pfaff Expression 4.0 when it first came out, she had nothing BUT problems. They worked on it repeatedly, finally replaced it, and that one was a lemon too! She traded it for a Babylock and has been super happy since.
