Default Mystery Quilt from Quilted Twins

Becky from Quilted Twins is doing her first Mystery Quilt. https://www.quiltedtwins.com/new-blo...dfantasycolors . Anyone interested in doing it together?

I don't do mystery quilts, but I am lucky enough to be going to this shop while I am in Florida. The website has dozens of free quilt patterns.

beautiful presentation. With that much fabric, although she says the EQ estimates are probably generous, it will be a lot of small pieces and a busy quilt. You'd have to know your threshold for those two things in a quilt

I'll give it a go. Is there link or a sign up for email notification for the steps?

Love the colors, but I am going to pass on this mystery. I am not a tiny piece kind of quilting gal and I have a list a mile long of quilts that I really want to do this year including my guild mystery. I may lurk here from time to time to see progress and to ooo and ahh at everyones finishes.

This one looks like it's right up my alley! I love the colors and love the "old world" theme, and I also love tiny peices. Due to moving and all, I missed out on this year's BH Mystery, and though I saved the clues, after seeing the reveal I'm not super enthused about doing it.

I'll be keeping an eye on it but I'm also not a big fan of small pieces, so I can't commit if that's where it's headed. Looking at the Free Patterns page... some of those squares look so very tiny. Plus I'm not sure my stash has enough of some of those colors for the queen size, although it says she'll give directions for two smaller sizes later so that'd probably be more my speed.

Upon further review, it looks like a lot of their tiny-pieced quilt patterns are done with strip piecing, which I'm a little more willing to give a go.

I still hope she posts the smaller quilt size fabric requirements prior to the March 28th start as I don't have enough of the required fabric colors in my stash and really don't want to buy more fabric right now.

I just ordered some fabric for it. I don't want a huge quilt, so I'll just do something along the lines of a lap size.
