Wool pressing mats on sale!
Quilt in a day has all of the wonderful wool pressing mats on sale today! The large white one is 50% off...less than the grey wool one of the same size. The gray ones are 40% off. I love the one I purchased last year.
Happy quilting and pressing.

I bought a small one to try and I love it. I bought the big one. It really makes a difference. Of all the ones I've seen in my guild, they all shed a little bit (not on fabric) and they all seem to have a slight smell, and will get scorch marks. All that is normal. It's worth every penny to me.

Wool Pressing Mat
I bought a small one to try it out, since they are pricey. I LOVE IT! Easy to take to retreats or guild meetings or sew-ins. I liked it so much, I bought a larger size to leave next to my sewing machine permanently. And then I saw it.....an ironing board sized one!!! Again, pricey, but I deserve it :-) Ordered it from Lisa Bongean/Primitive Gatherings. It's fabulous.

I guess they sold out of the white mat quickly. It was on sale for 50% off where the grey ones were 40% off....the white ones originally were more expensive, not sure why. Still the grey ones are a great price....check on line and you will see the difference.

What I have started to use are 3 100%woolen sweaters bought from Value Village (goodwill).xxlarge size felted them in hot water wash and hot dryer and they work wonderful. stacked them up its close to 1" high. my seams are so flat! the top sweater loves to pick up loose threads.. Been thinking about covering them with muslin but haven't done that yet. the sticky lint roller works good enough to pick up the loose threads.
