Sewnsewer2, do you have DSL or dial-up? That could make a big difference. Go back to the beginning of this post and go back to the link. You should be able to click on, sign in with your e-mail and password you signed up with, click log on and it should start downloading. Some of the pages take a little longer to load than others. You gotta have a little patience.

Hopefully this works for you.

As for the print, just go to the top of the magazine screen and you will see what looks like magnifying glasses. One with a + sign and one with a - sign. Click on the one with the + sign and it enlarges the print for you.

Has anyone gotten an email and actually SEEN it yet?
How did you see it?

Thanks I signed up also. Oh to go on just one of those trips. Alas, I think it is not in the cards. Oh well.

Am I missing something here??? :? It seems to be a travel book rather than a quilting book??? Is that all it is.....travels for quilters? I thought it would be a quilting magazine!?!?

It really isn't at all what I thought it would be. I don't think I will even bother to read through the thing and am glad I didn't spend any money on it.

Sew Many Places signed up on the board here and was talking in chat about this magazine. Saying something about being invovled with all the "famous" quilters and such.
I wasn't really impressed in the beginning and I'm guessing my hunch was right.

I checked it out and won't be going back as it has nothing of value to me. If I had an extra $6 or $7k lying around to spend on quilting, it would not be spent on an African safari, but on a longarm. The format and content were so annoying that I stopped reading after a few pages. Just my 2cents.

I registered and looked at it too. It did seem more like a travel magazine than a quilt one. But thank you anyway!

My thoughts exactly - Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE to take one of the "quilting trips", but since I don't have the money to, I would rather see quilting info such as patterns, new fabrics and how-to stuff. I'll give it one more issue then unsubscribe.
