The batting by the bolt deal made me wonder what other companies are out there. I stumbled on Batt Mart. Has anyone ordered from here and what did you think?

http://www.batt-mart.com/ is the web link. They do mention that min. order from the Warm company and that there is a $20 surcharge if you don't make the min. but they seemed to have lots of other brands even some that are needled.

I checked it out before and found the pads and foam are good prices, but I get my Warm batting from Hancocks on the roll when it is 40 percent off. That is kinda hard to beat anywhere. I stock up as best I can but they have the sale quite often. :D

I had been getting mine when Joann's had theirs 1/2 off, I just love the idea of having a whole great big bunch on hand. Twice now the sales happened right when I needed them, but now I've been stuck watching the adds. :(

Loretta mentioned that I might try using flannel for batting, I know I could find that by the bolt.

Elizabeth....keep checking every week at Joanns online.
I'll try to remember to post when they have the 1/2 price on it.

I have to drive so far to a walmart or a Joanns, that I order mine by the roll. I go to www.Okleequilting.com I've never been disappointed there.

Thanks to both of you. I'll have to keep that place in mine they had nice prices on board cloth. I'm not sure what I use now, as I have become a bit concerned the warm and white might be a bit to heavy. Oh well it's not Christmas yet, and I figure I have till October to get them into the machine to quilt.

I ordered from this site: http://www.wholesalequiltbatting.com/warm.htm
The shipping wasn't the fastest and I was sent the wrong item first but after 3 weeks I got a 25yd bolt of Soft & Bright for under $100 including shipping. You can't beat it.

Did you notice that Batt-Matt has an advertisement at the bottom of the page? Coinsidental?
I couldn't find anything for Michele's garage sale. Do you have a web link?
