So neat to see a community support quilting like this. Thanks for taking all the pictures and sharing with us.

Thank you for posting your pix!!! My DH and I both forgot our camera (although he offered to go buy me another). It was really nice to see that you shot my good friend's quilt (pix of all the mine camps she lived in growing up). It was also nice that you shot 7 of the 11 of mine in the show!

You are right, there are several on my todo list from this show. The one I asked DH to shoot with his phone, you got nicely.

Seriously WOW! What a great way to see the quilts. I have not yet had the pleasure to go to Sisters OR for their outdoor show and was not aware they did one in Weaverville. Great photos of some very lovely quilts. Thanks for sharing!!

YES! This would be impossible without major community support. Every business that allowed quilts to be hung, the CHP, CalTrans, etc, etc had to sign off on it. Sue Rhodes of Textile Traditions was still working on final details as of Thurs afternoon, even though this show has been going on for 9 or 10 years.

This is a very community oriented county, with lots of mutual aide going on. It's sort of typical that when I got my wheelchair stuck in somone's garden bed, I had several people come immediately to my rescue. (2 local firemen rescued me.)
