We were pleasantly surprised today when the UPS driver brought us a box from RJR with the new "Fixit" fabrics in it. We were *wishing* that these would arrive early. We'd been told that RJR wouldn't be shipping them until December.

And, of course, if we got ours, then other shops must have received this line as well.

They're REALLY well done. It can be hard to find nice "guy fabrics", so I thought I'd give everyone a heads up.

There are more fabrics in the collection than what I've pictured here, but you'll get the idea from these.

Love these hammers and nails. They are so well done!

Very cool! My husband only has left thumbs - and left feet... Let's not speak of the bat house incident. The man tried but wow, even the bats would not go near that monstrosity if we could have found a tree strong enough to nail it to!

It is really really cool fabric.

I love these prints! I will no doubt be checking them out at my fave lqs. There are two guys I love that really would like quilts of these fabrics! Thanks!

Agree with you; they're very well done and very attractive.

What's particularly nice about this line - and different from anything else that I've ever seen - is that the border stripe has four completely different stripes. Meaning that the motifs in each stripe are different from one another. Most border stripes have four repeats across the width of the fabric, but they're all the same.

So you could make a quick wallhanging or quilt very easily by making one central block and then adding border, border, border, border. Wonder if the other fabric manufacturers will follow RJR's lead with this new take on the stripe?

Will have to wait and see.
