For a quilter, why would a serger be needed? How are sergers used in quilting?
|
Babylock Evolve Wave, I have two of them. I had White and Janome before....nothing like the Babylock. There are alot of folks turning in their Evolve and Imagines on the new Evolution...so some good machines out there, gently used. I would check one of your babylock dealers for one of these models. They have auto threading! none of the others have it and that is the main complaint from owners of other brands.

Bought a viking s25 less than a year ago. I don't use it as much as I thought I would. Thinking about selling it and getting something more simple. I don't think I need a machine that does everything.. Need to think about how much are you really going to use it and what you want to do with it.

Thank you ladyshuffler for bringing up this topic as I have wondered as well. I have learned a lot and now feel ready to buy one myself! Thanks everyone for participating.

hello malliinda, where did you go to have such a neat signature??
|
hey there, where did you get that beautiful pattern for that red quilt in your sig.

I have a Janome. I gave $259.00 for it at least 20 years ago. I have made a quilt top with mine. Now I go around the edge of every quilt I make. It makes the binding go on easier for me.
