I am just finishing hand quilting a lap quilt. I made part of it with 10 1/2" squares/blocks on the ends & 5 1/2" squares/blocks in the center strip.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this kind of technique.....that which "surprises and astounds" both the maker and the viewer!!!

I'm sort of known for my own "one block shape" quilts in my classes; I can hardly wait to add this trick to the repetoire! They'll love it. :)

This technique makes quick and interesting quilts. You can put a focus fabric in the centre and turn over edges.

There is a 5 Minute Quilt Block too. I like it better.
