3 Dude's quilt shop, Phx

3 Dude's is closing. It is a wonderful shop. Lots of helpful people, cookies, coffee, tea and other goodies. A couch for the (probably) waiting spouses. I was looking forward to going there in Feb.

I've been to Arizona and must admit that finding a quilt shop was difficult. Maybe in such warm regions, people have little use for quilts?

I read on Facebook that the shop owners were ready to retire for good, being retired when they started the shop in the first place.

I have been there back in 2015. Very nice shop and I bought two pieces of fabric and a purse pattern. I made the purse - someone at home asked about the pattern and I told her about 3 Dudes. She called them and they were most helpful to her so she could buy the pattern over the phone.

if in Phoenix you have to shop the 35th Ave Quilt Shop (they also sell machines & Vacumns--but wow! it's huge!). Go the the original one of 35th--not the satellite.

visited 3 Dudes when I was in Phoenix about 2016---great shop with lots of samples. Can certainly understand their wanting a slower pace.

Yep most of mine have closed due to retirement. Only one left and the lady is old so not sure how many years that shop has left

I've never been to the shop but have used some of Rob's techniques from youtubes. I was hoping to get there some day . . .
