501 Quilting Motifs
 

Received this book for my birthday yesterday and wanted to share the information with everyone. It contains 501 different and inventive motifs for either hand quilting or free motion by machine. There is something to fit every quilt block or whole piece. Children's designs, feathers, flowers, corner designs, swirls and twirls, modern and traditional. Wow! That looks amazing. I'll be ordering that today. I have such a difficult time figuring out quilting motifs. I really want to do some machine quilting so I can get some things completed. I think this will help tremendously. Thank you!

Thank you so much for this information. I have several 'packages' of quilt motifs but have to search through the whole package to find what I want...in other words, no index. I see this one has an index for many sizes of blocks so all that is needed is to go to size needed, then choose a design. Looks like just what I need. Thanks again!

Happy Birthday!! I have this book also and have used a number of them. Nice because you can enlarge or shrink on a printer to get the size you need for any block or border.

Is it really 500 different motifs, or is it 100 motifs in 5 different arrangements? I bought one of the Quiltmaker sets, and was so mad to find out it was the latter.
