I haven't seen that video in quite awhile but I really am getting ideas now. I prefer the look of quilted layers so I would take it to my sewing machine and add that after each round. With some easy continuous line boarder designs it could be very quick. Of course, you'd add time to the quilt, but you wouldn't have a huge bukly quilt in the neck area of your sewing machine.

This is a really great quilt to do! And it really does 6 hours (or less!). I made both of these little ones for Project Linus a couple of years ago. Super fun!
