Wonderful!! Worth reading through and keeping in mind for all sewists! I totally agree with one of the last few comments about never make a quilt for someone who calls it a blanket!! I would add: don't make a homemade anything for someone who doesn't appreciate the time, effort and love put into it! I have several family members who will never, ever, ever again receive any homemade gift from me! Lack of appreciation does not get rewarded by me!
Many other tips are so worth reading and remembering! One that I'm going to give a try: right handed sewers should use their left foot for "driving" the machine.

I really liked this. I am going to print out some of the signs for my bulletin board in the sewing room.

Never sew when you have a sink full of dirty dishes or beds unmade? But then I would never sew.

This is all great advice. I'm wondering ... in the old poster the sewist was advised to keep chalk nearby to dust her fingers with. What was the purpose of that?

I'm sitting here in my robe, hope my husband doesn't catch me. lol!!

I totally agree. No matter how much I wash them thru out the day it seems my sink is never empty. Especially when the grandkids are over; which is every day that I'm off they are over at least one but usually more. I have few visiters so I don't worry about it. I try to keep the counters cleaned off and the floors vacuumed and quit worrying about all the small stuff.
