Wonderful!! Worth reading through and keeping in mind for all sewists! I totally agree with one of the last few comments about never make a quilt for someone who calls it a blanket!! I would add: don't make a homemade anything for someone who doesn't appreciate the time, effort and love put into it! I have several family members who will never, ever, ever again receive any homemade gift from me! Lack of appreciation does not get rewarded by me!
Many other tips are so worth reading and remembering! One that I'm going to give a try: right handed sewers should use their left foot for "driving" the machine. |

Never sew when you have a sink full of dirty dishes or beds unmade? But then I would never sew.

This is all great advice. I'm wondering ... in the old poster the sewist was advised to keep chalk nearby to dust her fingers with. What was the purpose of that?
