Another method of binding

Oh those mitered corners in the binding! http://www.freequiltpatterns.info/fr...-by-lizzie.htm

This is the method I have used for quite a while now and I love it. Thanks for sharing with the newer quilters.

Thanks for sharing. I've read about this method, but it helps to see the video.

I like her use of hair pins. I double my binding, so it's a little different, but basically the same. Thanks for sharing.

There are many ways and each one is right for different people. It looks very simple.

I use Sharon Shamler's method. For me it is so easy and fast. So we all need to find our way that is right for us. Thanks for sharing.

It looks interesting. I may have to check it out.

Thanks for the link to the video. Hadn't thought of using bobby pins, but as I think about it, it makes a lot of sense.

I double my binding too, and also I use bias binding. My main reason is that it doesn't fray as quickly as straight cut.
Interesting seeing the use of bobby pins...I never would have thought of that...do they still sell them?
Thanks for posting this method.

Jean, do you live in Howard, Little River or Sevier County? I grew up in that area.

I love that she calls "bobbin pins" "hear grips". Did you notice she called a "seam ripper" " an un-picker". Love it

I do not like the idea of using the selvage as the outside of the binding.
