Thank you for the yardage information. I like to have the backgrounds close to the same colors. I may start on this over the weekend if I get the quilt done that is on my longarm. Or I may turn our sit and sew group on to this one. We sometime do these sew alongs to use up scraps.

I love these patterns. I plan on using Kaffe Fasset fabric for mine.

Wonder if making a strip set and cutting on the angle would be even faster? I might her method to make one angled piece, then try using a strip set and cutting on and angle. Won't be for a couple of weeks though.

HELP! Is it too late to join? I managed to download blocks 1 & 4, but can't find the right place to click on blocks 2 & 3.

The only problem with this method is that you will be sewing on the bias.
I just made similar block and was also tempted to make strip sets but then
I changed my mind. It's up to you.

Thanks so much for posting this. I'm always looking for great sampler quilts and this looks terrific.

I have started the 150 Canadian women sampler: http://www.nextstepquiltdesigns.com/...tting-bkgd.pdf

and recently completed Tula Pink's city sampler quilt.

Always glad to have another challenge.

My sister turned me on to the site, I have printed the blocks 1-4 and will get to them soon. Still thinking of my colors.

I saved the first 4 blocks -- thanks for the link. Just hope I can remember to check for the rest.

Thanks for sharing. Haven't heard of the 150 Canadian women sampler until now.
