I was asked by a friend to go into shopgoodwill.com today and as I was looking for chairs for him, I noticed a hand crank sewing machine and further down I noticed 2 other machines, one old and nice looking. The turn-crank one I believe goes off on Feb. 7 and is at a Goodwill in the State of Wash. So those interested should go look at it online and one of you has to buy it! Since I am on the east coast, I will allow those on the westcoast to be the next proud owner. So go for it.

Thanks for showing me a new site!

There is a nice 301 avail, still at $9.99. Comes with quite a few attachments. Unfortunately shipping to the west coast is quite high.

I went back to the site and there is a featherweight under arts and crafts and a few other machines. I had been looking under household or something else since they did not have a category for furniture and he wanted chairs. That is where I saw the hand crank machine. I was surprised at the fabric, buttons and other sewing items on arts and crafts. Good luck to all of you. Want snow/rain/ice mixture tonight. Have to keep grandson since my daughter has to work.

I would love a hand-crank machine, but I can't imagine what the shipping would cost from Washington to Texas.
