Apple/Mac Help

I realize this is not directly quilting related, but some of us have Apple products that we use to access the Quilting Board

Their help number is 1-800-275-2273

You will be asked for the product type (computer, phone, whatever) and its serial number, so it's helpful to have that available before you call.

There is no charge for this help.

Thank you "bearisgray" for the phone number. I have had an Apple Mac for about 9 years and still don't know how to put pictures on the quilting board. I will try and call them and get some help which is what I desperately need. My granddaughter will help me sometimes but she is so busy and so fast that I don't get the whole instructions and I hate to bother her all of the time.

Are you wanting to insert a photo into your post? I am writing this on a MacBookPro "as we speak". So I just tried to upload a photo, tried twice, and I keep getting Upload Failed after going through the prompts after clicking on the little icon just above, third from the right, "Insert Image." But here is the process. Click on the Insert Image icon on bar above this box, then choose the "From Computer" on the next prompt as opposed to URL. Then click on Choose File and you will be then sent to your directory. I chose Photos, my official Mac's app for Photos and clicked on a photo I wanted to insert, then at bottom right hand corner, click "Choose" and your directory will close, and you are back at the box where the name of the file of your image is there. Click on "Upload File(s)". when is not working for me but that is the process on a Mac.Ok, I just tried a picture that was Not in the Mac Photo Library, but just a regular file, and it worked. It's a Halloween lunch bag I made last fall. Just an example. Hope this helps.

When I say click on the Insert Image Icon above, I am referring to when you are in the Quick Reply in a thread.

Make sure the size of the file is not too big. It won't upload if it is.
