I have been watching this cutter on Amazon for weeks and you are right that the price for the cutter alone is better on amazon. But this deal was for the cutter plus 5 refillable blades and I haven't found that combination better than on amazon in a while. Especially, now for those of us that pay tax.

What is it with the Aurafil white thread? I bought several spools and have had no problem, every time I use the white spool the thread breaks??? I think I remember someone else making this comment on just the white a while back. Does anyone else have this problem or am I delusional?
