Thanks so much for the link! Did you happen to see how she made the ocean floor seascape? This is a very talented person...

This is a great way to finish charity quilts. It goes so quickly...and allows more time to make even more charity quilts. LOL

Thanks for the link craftybear. |
What a great way to use decorative stitches to finish stitching the binding. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks Crafty. I just finished a quilt that way a few days ago and was in a dither on the corners. couldn't believe it when I saw this today. You are a mind reader.

Backing to front binding
I checked out the site also and found it be very interesting. One thing came to mind as I reviewed it. This is the same way one could fold in the corners of a napkin or tablecloth but w/o the sandwich layers.

Thanks for the link! I'm all for easy! LOL

Thanks for the link -- that is very complete.

Thanks for posting!

Thanks for sharing this link. Looks like something I want to try on the next quilt I make.
|
Thank you. I've tried this by trial and error and frustration. Nice to have some guidelines.

This is how I finish most of my quilts. With a full-time and a part-time job I'm all about fast and this is it. I trim my backing to just 1" and fold in half for a much smaller binding though. Don't know why - that's just how I've done it. Can someone tell me why she quilted twice?
