My LQS had block of the month yesterday and someone brought in 2 quilts she had backed with fabric from Benartex that was pre-printed for quilting. Maybe this has already been posted here as I don't think it's something new, although the LQS owner didn't know about it.

It's available at http://fabric.com. I looked, it's about $14/yd. I am so tired of marking my quilts and I have such a backlog of tops to finish up - I may bite the bullet. I will easily get the free shipping!

Considering how expensive it is to have a quilt quilted, this isn't to bad of a price. I may have to try some on my next quilt. Thanks for the link

The free motion quilting pattern is printed on this backing fabric. That means you quilt it with the back of the quilt facing up and you don't have to mark (I fmq but I have to mark everything!).

I went to amazon.com and put Benartex quilt backing, and it came up in beigh color and I paid 7.98 a yard, free shipping. Hope you find it.

I just went back on Amazon and it did go up to 14.98 a yard. I bought mine this morning for 7.98 and another poster paid 7.98 also. I'm sorry. :(

When I clicked on my link it took me to something called 108'' Dream Line Quilting Fabric Beige By The Yard. It's not 7.98 anymore, it's back up to 14.98. Phoey.

That $7.98 price on Amazon must have been someone's mistake that went undetected, until we all started buying it.

We should have been quicker. Even at the higher proce. ot's not bad since it is so wide. I buy 2+ yards and turn my quilts sideways and get two large lap quilts of of that

I went to Amazon.com but it seemed that the material was wide but not described as having printing on it. Are we to assume it is that way. There was some batik by Benartex that I am sure isn't printed. Clarification for the feeble minded please.

It's benartex dreamline quilting fabric and the "product description," scroll down the page, says it is printed with a feathered design. Just follow the link a few messages above and it will take you right to the product.

I've spent the last hour...not really that long...searching for this product and they...the quilt store owners, marketers, etc.....need to make this easier to find. You can't purchase what you can't find to order!!! Had to come back here to locate the exact name of the fabric backing. Thanks again QB members.
