A block a day delivered to my email!!

Look what I found from Quilt-Pro! their link is www.quiltpro.com

Today's link is: http://www.quiltpro.com/botd/setup/2...rFight_Win.pdf

wish I had time to do all of them. They are smaller ones. I like larger squares but that sure would make a big quilt.

toverly 01-04-2014 05:49 AM

That could be dangerous! LOL. I am signing up now, thanks for posting the link.

Ann63 01-04-2014 05:57 AM

Thanks. I signed up too.

QuiltnNan 01-04-2014 06:03 AM

i just got quilt pro during their black friday sale. this would be good practice to try to learn how to use it :)

Ms Kay 01-04-2014 07:19 AM

I LOVE the block on day 3. I don't see how I can print it out from that link.

duckydo 01-05-2014 05:49 AM

I tried, it won't let me download it. I joined, maybe I have to wait until then. Any suggestions

QuiltnNan 01-05-2014 05:51 AM

thanks, rebeljane, for all of those links

Geri B 01-05-2014 07:16 AM

How is the program compared to EQ?

kamaiarigby 01-05-2014 07:16 AM

Do you get instructions on cutting these blocks and sewing instructions, or just a daily picture

bearland53 01-05-2014 07:26 AM

Love the patterns - how do you download the pattern?

verna2197 01-05-2014 07:55 AM

I too tried to download the patterns and could only get todays.

bearland53 01-05-2014 08:20 AM

Do we have to download (and pay) for the program in order to get the free block of the day?

verna2197 01-05-2014 08:32 AM

when I click on the links it does take me to the block but am unable to download them. I did sign up for the newsletter though.

Snooze2978 01-05-2014 08:45 AM

Thanks for the links but they won't allow us to download. I've gone ahead and signed up though so thanks for the link for that.

fivepaws 01-05-2014 09:01 AM

I signed up also.

T. 01-05-2014 10:53 AM

Good point! I never thought of that. I signed up too, but let's wait to see what happens...
thank you for the link anyway :)

mjhaess 01-05-2014 10:59 AM

Thanks for the link...

crafty pat 01-05-2014 11:47 AM

I have been getting the patterns for a long while. I just print them out and file the ones I like.

Vat 01-05-2014 12:15 PM

Is is free? I really don't like to get caught up in things I have to pay for , when so many things are free and I can choose from them.

crafty pat 01-05-2014 12:33 PM

It is free but they do sell things and have sails but you don't have to buy anything to keep getting the free patterns every day. You can also look back at past patterns and print them out. The sails are in a different email than the one with the free patterns.

gmcsewer 01-05-2014 01:48 PM

I have had Quilt Pro for a couple of years and I use it a lot. You can design any size quilt, the program automatically sizes the blocks to fit your design. You can scan in your own fabric. It will print out how much of each fabric you need. I usually just do print preview and it shows what would be printed and I write those measurements down and head off to the store. I don't understand how this "block a day" works, if it costs extra from the program and if you can get the blocks without having the Quilt-pro program.

pw6 01-05-2014 02:15 PM

Yes I ahve been collecting them for 3 years now but in the last week or so they have been repeating some of them and when you go to save them it tells you that you already have it, so I just add 2014 to it and save it ...
all patterns are paper piecing... and most are only 4"X4" but you can enlarge them on your printer easy enough. I have made several baby quilts from them, the nice part is that they are FREE

mimiknoxtaylor 01-05-2014 02:54 PM

This is when I started it on Dec. 5th. I think I had to sign up & then it started the next day. You can down load their block installer & that's free, which I did but you also have the PDF option & that's what I've wound up doing.
As to them being small that's true but to do a larger block I just print 1 copy. Decide how large I want it & increase on the printer. Most are 6 1/2" so it you copied at 200% you'd get just over 12 1/2". I love PP so these are great.

That is a very dangerous link...after filling 2 3 ring binders of patterns I had to quit!!

CRO 01-05-2014 05:42 PM

I really want the Dec 30th pattern but can't figure out where to find it and download it. I did sign up though.

Try this link - it brings you to the archives - I was able to get the last few days of December.

Go into quilt pro forums
- general discussion
- announcements
- topic - Home Page - block of the month.

There is a link - I was able to get into January, but for some reason I can only get the last few days of December now. Hope this helps someone or at least points us in the right direction on how to access these patterns.

links123 01-06-2014 04:47 AM

I like the December 30th pattern. It is my best ever. I will make a use of it somewhere.

bearland53 01-06-2014 04:55 AM

Just received my "Block of the Day" e-mail. The pdf for theboc is in the e-mail, as well as being able to access the archives, but only from late December moving forward.

CookyIN 01-06-2014 05:13 AM

Thanks so much for the link. I signed up for the daily patterns. Love fun things like this!

CRO 01-06-2014 05:51 AM

Thank you so much for the link. I got it!!

GrammaNan 01-06-2014 10:54 AM

I signed up and am looking forward to getting the e-mails, thanks for the info!

nwm50 01-06-2014 04:08 PM

Got mine today too! Can't wait to compile more and decide which ones to make next

linmid 01-07-2014 04:30 PM

Once you sign up they send out a block every day. A lot of them are paper pieced but if they are not paper pieced they do give directions.

All times are GMT -8. The time now is 01:42 AM.
