Bonnie Hunter-Japan

FYI-I just watched Bonnie Hunter’s picture post of the Tokyo quilt festival on YouTube. Some really great quilts there !

Me too. Just watched her video. Wow! What an eyeful. I love the Japanese quilts. They always have gorgeous applique. The DH says he wants to go to Branson, MO this spring. I said let's do it after we go to AQS Paducah, 3rd week in April. Looking forward to that show.

I was lucky enough to work the Tokyo show last year for Handi Quilter!. It was awesome. Lots of great quilts and fabrics. A unique experience for sure!

I also saw that...such patience!

I liked the quilts. She posted she got to go in before the show opened to avoid the crowds. I wonder if her tour group got to go in early. I would have been a little miffed about that if she went in and I was stuck waiting with the swarm of people.

What fun. When I lived there I always marveled at how clean every little thing was. Streets, restrooms you name it, they keep it clean. Eating was always fun. To this day I still remember eating "Mystery Meat". I'd already eaten tons of wierd stuff.. but sometimes, well, it's just best to never know. I wish I had been able to take this trip.
