I wasn't sure if anyone has seen this or is interested in this pouch but it's so cute and so easy to make. I have used these instructions many times and the pouches are so cute. I make mine with a second fabric for the lining. Next time I'm going to add some interfacing to give it some structure.

Anyway, here is the link: http://threebears.wordpress.com/2007...ouch-tutorial/

Enjoy!

I made several of these last Christmas. They are really easy to make and turn out really cute. I came across another pattern that was similar and had a lining so I sort of combined the two. Anyway, cute pattern!

I liked the pattern so much that i decided to "print it out". wrong move...it has 100 pages of everyone's out put on it. I had the hardest time to get my computer to stop printing! Needless to say, i it the button twice, so that would have been 200 pages! All is well now, still didn't get the pattern but that's okayI now have abot 50 pages of everyone"s comments.

Ooops. Sorry that happened. I've tried that before as well. Ended up unplugging all my machines to get it to stop.

I love these and have made them in several sizes. A smallish one holds the extra feet to my machine that I take to sewing groups. I make a quilt sandwich, quilt and cut to the desired size....trial and error and zig-zag the edges.

First I put a tag on one end so you can get ahold of it while you zip or unzip the box. Put the tag right where the zipper teeth meet in the seam of the bag. The handles are put in when you "box" it at the other end. I should take a picture of one that I did a couple of years ago. Then I put the handle on the other end for carrying or what ever. I just tuck in the ends of the handle into the part where you "box the corners. so after you sew the ends and when you "box the ends, Just tuck in the ends of the handles , but make sure you handle or tags are on the inside of the bag. Then go ahead and "box it and then of course you leave the zipper open so you can turn it right side out. Once you turn it right sode out, then the handles and a tag will be on the outside like it is supposed to be. My handle is 10" total and the tag is about two or three inches for the other end. I hope I was able to make it easy to understand. good luck, Huggies, Fay
