Chart for enlarging/reducing blocks

I found this today when I was looking at some paper pieced pattern that I thought would be interesting & helpful to many of you. I frequently want to reduce/enlarge patterns that I find & this looks like a great chart. I have not tried using the Adobe Reader but I'm sure it works well with that. My printer has a reduce/enlarge feature & that is how I do mine. I hope this helps you.

I just saved this little puppy! It should come in handy along the way. I am frequently trying to resize patterns.

I've only found a few paper piecing patterns offered in PDF format. I spent some time early this week trying to print out a square in a square at 2" finished, The only options available on my printer were very unsatisfactory. One day when it's safer, if he is still in business, I'll take it in to my brick and mortar print place and get him to do it for me.

That’s a nice and handy chart for reducing and enlarging blocks. But I use just plain math (that bad word!!). Way back in the dinosaur days of quilting (I started in 1979) we were taught how to change the size of blocks and it really is easy. I’m nit going to go through the math right now but it includes simple division. I can write out how to do it if someone is interested, But having the chart handy is still a super idea. I’m going to make a copy and add it to a notebook of these kind if things I’m making for my small quilt quilt when we finally are able to get together again.

thanks
