This is a handy info sheet to keep with my quilting things. I'm wondering, and this will show my ignorance, but what is the difference between a drop and a tuck? It's 10 inches more for a tuck. Is that because people actually tuck the ends of a quilt under the mattress? Is that what that means?

here is a link about a tuck quilt (to cover up the pillows on the bed)

Thank you, you always are so very quick to help!!
When do you find any time to do anything else????

Thank you. Now I know. So, you'd make the quilt 10 - 18 inches longer for it to go up and over the pillows. Got it. Thanks! I've also bookmarked the site for future reference.
