I would be making one in a heartbeat if I had a clothesline. Love the smell of clothes off the clothesline. Especially, linens towels and sheets and blankets. Even undergarments. The whites always looked best after being out in the sunshine!!

I made this one from a childs shirt from a resale shop.

It is cute, reminds me of the clothes pin bags that a dear family friend used to make on her treadle machine when I was a little girl, when she was in her late 70's or 80's. She and my mom were both gardeners and used to swap plants and I loved to go visit her as she had great stories to share. I could listen to her for hours. I cherish the patchwork apron she made me that looks like an inverted tulip, and she also made me a smaller one when I was a little girl.

That is so cute. The last one I made was a little girls dress I got at Goodwill. Like someone said sew up front and across bottom. The dress was already faded but figured it would get more faded hanging out in the sun all the time. Been married 34 years and I think this is my 3rd bag.

That is just too darn cute....but more importantly i wanted to thank you for the memory jog and the smile. My Gram had a clothes pin bag made of fabric scraps with a rope drawstring. It was my job to follow behind her pulling the pins out of the bag to hand her as she hung the laundry. Haven't thought about that for a long time. Thank you.
