This is a 3 part blog that gives a lot of information...even a time lapse of Stevie (her crocodile).

I have been encouraged by Watson's quilt to really look further into this collage quilting. Not sure if I will ever be able to do anything like "Atlas" but maybe I could start with something small & simple & see if I have the potential to go bigger. :)

Oh, my, what an amazing project!!!

Susan Carlson is a wonderful art quilt creator. I will be using a few of her techniques in a project I am starting. Start small and just have fun. Try a picture from a coloring book and have fun.

If you go to Ms. Carlson's FB page, she often has "Thursday Throwbacks" where she will post videos of her techniques. Invaluable.
