Coming in April
Am so happy PBS local channel in Corpus Christi will be bringing back the quilting and sewing shows; Nancy's Notions, Fons and Porter, couple other such as 'STitch to Fit". Found their Facebook page so sent them a message and they replied. I like to watch them and work on hexies and yo yos or anything else I related. It's 3 hours but I still get a lot done and get on the QB at the same time. Happy day!!:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::D:D:thum bup::thumbup:

I am right now watching F&P with Patrick Lose on my local PBS station.. Not a quilt I would make, but I still like to learn tricks of the trade from him.

The DJ from the PBS radio and tv local channel explained they had moved to a new location so that is part of the reasoning many of the shows are repeats from prior airings and some other issues. Will see what happens because I see some of local airings from up state. Guess it's more of a national thing. I can always go to YouTube and do other things.

Our PBS channel gets those too. I was a garment sewist first so do love the Stitch2Fit programs. I used to love drafting patterns. She did a great segment on capes this morning.

You folks are so lucky!!! We haven't gotten any quilting/sewing shows on our PBS or HGT for years.
|
I'm in Seal Beach area and I get them on KOCE and another pbs station they are on Sat.
|
I guess we are lucky with Wisconsin PBS. They actually have 3 channels. the main channel shows Nancy and one other option on Sat. The Create channel shows one sewing or knitting show every week day. The Wisc channel is the third and they sporadically show sewing and quilting shows.

We have it in SC and I love it..I have watched it for years...
