Craftsy Black Friday Deal
 

I just received an email from Craftsy offering a full year membership for only $2.25! This seems too good to be true so I wanted to make sure it wasn’t a scam before I signed up. Did anyone else receive this offer?

I didn't receive this email but Nov. 2nd I got a year membership for $2.49. It does have a renewable clause at $79 which will renew next Nov. 2021, however, you can cancel that renewable clause anytime before next November. It's not a scam. Just an introductory offer to get people back on Craftsy.

While I understand their need to get more people to come back, it frustrates me bc for the year it was bluprint, I really didn't care for it at all - and just got my renewal notice for $79.95. Same as anyplace else, I guess. Cable comes to mind. New subscribers get a great deal while current customers get to pay a lot more.

Guess it's time for me to let my subscription go.
