It looks like it works well in the video - I wonder if anyone on the QB has tried it? I have seen this at the quilt shows but never stopped to look closely at it. Thanks for posting the link to the video.

I have one but as of yet have not used it. Saw it done at a quilt show and it does work. You have to make sure you have the fabric the right way

I've had this foot for a long time now. It also comes with a little wooden roller to press the seam. There is also a demo. On youtube that shows the technique without using the foot. However, I find that it works well. You get value for money if you have more than one machine as there are attachments to suit more than one variety.

great looking product :)

I have the gizmo..never use it. Just pin at each end. I sew from the top down one inch. then the bottom one inch. sew from top to bottom! No HANG OVERS at all! Save your money for fab!! IMHO

I never use more than 1 pin- just where I plan to start stitching. I was taught this trick in the 5th grade by my Home-Ec teacher Mrs Gunther who said ''I hate wrestling with things more then once''. She taught us Practical Working Shortcuts -Who say's you don't use stuff you learned years after you get out of school : ) |
I love Judy Niemeyer patterns, and a lot of them have curves and circles. I just completed Tropical Rainbow which has lots of curves and circles so I used a lot of pins doing it. After that experience, I decided to purchase the Curve Master for future projects. It arrived in the mail Saturday so I'm anxious to try it out!!

I can not copy and paste from my iPad, so here is how I do curves. On YouTube, Kaye wood has a video called "Melon block...." that shows an easy way to make curves meet up nicely for those of us who don't have this wonderful tool. Her method only uses 1 pin. If it works for me, it should be easy for you too.

I did a BOM based on the Drunkard's path and didn't use pins. I was shown a different method by a quilting teacher I had.
