for Dear Jane lovers

Website with photos from the Dear Jane exhibit at the Vermont Quilt Festival; interesting to see the variety, and don't forget to check out the mini Dear Jane (2" blocks!)

Awesome Jane's!

So amazing how each quilter chose a different way to completion - I cannot imagine doing those blocks to a 2 inch scale, it must have taken a lot of perserverence, a lot of skill, and a lot of "what was I thinking" !
Thanks for sharing the link.

So beautiful! Just got back from lovely Vermont where we stopped at the Bennington Museum to see the Original Jane Stickle quilt. Very nice and interesting to read about her. The room where the quilt was on exhibition was quite dark to prevent harm from the light. These newer Dear Jane quilts are just great. thanks for posting.

That is an incredible collection of "Jane's". Every time I see a Jane I keep hoping the fairy of "patience" will visit and gift me more so I can make one of these beauties.

Thanks so much! I've seen the first one by Cindy Garcia and it was absolutely stunning. I had gone to a big quilt show specifically to see modern quilts and art quilts and the one quilt that stunned me the most was her "No pain no Jane" quilt.

I am drooling over those quilts. Beautiful.

Oh, this was fun to view! Thanks for sharing the link. It was interesting to see the impact that color and value have on the same overall pattern.

Thanks for the link - loved the show.

I was especially intrigued with J11 - the choice of fabric was so unusual and was really spectacular in the quilt.

Great Janes! Thanks for sharing. I took Brenda's class at Empty Spools. It was a lot of fun, but alas, my Jane is still waiting for me to finish. I may end up like that one that took 12 years to finish.

The 2 incher was probably a lot of paper piecing for sure

Thanks sarge for the link! Beautiful Janes!

Lovely........not sure I could hand sew those tiny pieces. Wishing they had a machine version and not the 2" size as that is way beyond my patience level.

I did love the different color selections made each so unique!
