Thank you for the wonderful pattern! I also loved the Halloween table runner pattern. I enjoyed createwithclaudia's website...she has a wealth of information to share about scraps...I learned a lot!

I love disappearing blocks and this is one I'll just have to try with my immense collection of scraps. Thanks.

Me too! I've been doing a lot of scrappies lately but I don't seem to have put a dent in my stash https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/wink.png

I downloaded this yesterday. It is on my to-do list today. I have plenty of scraps to play with.

She has instructions to print and a video.

Does anyone know how many block it takes to make a lap quilt ( 50x60 or maybe 60x70)

Onebyone 01-25-2022 02:35 PM

8 blocks across by 10 down for a total of 80 blocks. This quilt measures about 64″ x 80″, with each block measuring 8″ finished.

Use less blocks for a smaller quilt.

What a great idea. Love the completed quilt.

if using 8 inch block, 7x8 would make quilt 56x64, requiring 56 blocks. Hope this helps.

I have so many scraps and this is a good idea, I am always looking for a new idea for my baby quilts that I donate to the Linus Project.
