Do you like/use Martelli Templates? 50% off Thurs 6/
 

Hi - does anyone like and/or use any of the Martelli TEMPLATES? They will be onsale this Thurs June 6th for 50% off (Martelli Redline sale) which is a great deal - just wanting to know if anyone actually uses them. They're so different than the "usual" templates - usual ones are acrylic; the Martelli's are black (can't see thru them) and I've never seen/used this kind of template. The videos look great - they are non-slip and you can move your fabric around for cutting on all edges/sides without lifting the template. Looking at getting the Double Wedding Ring template and the Circles/Drunken Path pattern/template. Would love your input!

I have the strip ruler. It does not slip which is wonderful. These are designed to use with the martelli rotary cutters which are ergonomic, left and right and require blades specific for this rotary cutter. I guess I am just used to a straight design on a rotary cutter rather than the maRtelli angle because the angle doesn't feel to be an improvement to me. Using the rotary cutter I prefer with the martelli strip ruler resulted in the ruler edge being "peeled" by the Olga cutter. Maybe I just don't know how to use these properly.
