I could use a helpful hint on how to do a
Dresdan Plate. Does anyone have a pattern that's easy to use, or some quick tips? Any help much appreciated!! |

The pattern I use has 16 petals. I put 4 together, then square them before assembling.

Here is an easy Dresden Plate. Pattern is from Fons & Porter's Love of Quilting July/August 2007
Finished quilt - allows for errors in seam allowance unlike the traditional full circle plate which requires perfect piecing. After piecing blades, use light weight pellon to turn the top edge under.
