Easy continuous flying geese
I am planning to make Dizzy Geese by Joan Streck next year. I ran across this video with a new-to-me method of making continuous flying geese. It won’t work with Bonnie Hunter’s new mystery quilt, but i think I can use it with Dizzy Geese.

Thanks, I have that Pam Bono 'Flying Home' pattern on my bucket list! Approximately one zillion flying geese, all in rows.

I remember when I used to pull the thread out every time and clip. How many miles of thread did I waste?

Thanks for the link!

I like to make my flying geese four at a time with no little corners to snip off and throw away, or use to make little stuff. |
maviskw what method do you use for making 4 at a time? Always looking for a better way.

I have that book and made that quilt using the one seam method on the geese very easy and they worked every time method can be found on you tube under one seam flying geese

But the one I really like is the "No Waste" method. Four small squares are sewn to a larger square, but this is done one at a time with cutting between. There is literally no waste except for the tiny bit you might cut off to square it up. That's not hard. Look up "No Waste Flying Geese". |
Here is the link. Hope it works and I hope you can make them work for you! ! !

Just watched the youtube that the OP posted. In my opinion the no waste 4 at a time method is faster and more economical. You could still use the angler if you wanted.
