This is a different way to make 4 patch blocks. Especially when you have scraps.

Isn't Lori Holt awesome! She has a new book coming out next month.I can't wait.

Wish I could see her blog. For some reason it will not load on my iPad. I will try the main computer later.

that definitely is a different way. i tried it years ago. when i got to the chain stitch of the second side, i never got them evenly spaced like she did :) the whole process seemed like a lot more work
|
Had no problem pulling it up on my iPad....thanks for this link
|
seams easy enough!!
|
Looks like more work to me! I'll stick to my usual
|

msqc, jenny shows this in one of their tutes, too. i haven't had the chance to try it yet. want to find out if it saves any time over the strip method.
isn't it wonderful how many options quilters come up with to reach the same goal. gives everyone an opportunity to find the best process for each person. |
I agree withpdcakm I saw a tutorial done byh jenny at msqc. I have not tried it yet!

She doesn't say what size...seems like any size would do....if I am thinking right the finished four patch would be equal to size of beginning square?
