Eleanor has had quite a couple of bad years and it certainly has taken it's toll on her. Bless her heart, I don't think much of anything is going to take her down for long though.

I haven't been keeping up that much with Eleanor. What health issues is she having other than the broken leg it mentioned?

well, glad to see she is on the mend. The kids are just too adorable.
I'm glad that her grandson quilts as well as her granddaughter. We all know that when men pick up this hobby, they add a new dimension that a lot of us aren't quite sure of. They wip up wonderful quilts and in fabulous colors that we might not think of using. A lot of them have used innovative methods too. |

Eleanor had open heart surgery before she broke her leg on her birthday.

I saw her at her shop in Paducah last Spring. She looked very frail. But then, we all grow older. She was still right up there on stage, performing and loving every minute of it. She really made the crowd laugh. She's like the Lucille Ball of the quilting world!
