I've never thought of doing a tumbling blocks because of the set in seams. May have to reconsider.

My BFF and I used this easier pattern and made a baby quilt for her not too long ago. It worked great.

Wow - that's amazing! I have avoided this pattern for years because I like quilting to be enjoyable not frustrating! LOL I don't mind stretching myself, but it looked just too monotonous and time-consuming. This method looks more interesting and definitely easier. Thanks so much for posting the link! :D :D

I did this pattern about 10 years ago, the other way. Guess it's time to update my colors and do it the easy way. Thanks for showing us this.
