Fabric crayons @ Amazon

I don't know if anyone uses these but they are only $2.84 for an 8 pack of Crayola fabric crayons. It is also free shipping even without Prime!

Walmart has the same price but if you have to drive there Amazon delivers to your door for free!

I have to stop by local wal-mart to see if they have them here. Thanks for sharing.

When I taught, we used regular Crayolas and heat set them with an iron after covering it with newsprint. They washed well. Not sure of the differences between the two. I'm not one for buying more "stuff" unless it has a proven difference. No brickbats, please.

The difference between regular crayons and fabric crayons is that fabric crayons, for best results, need to be used on poly/cotton blend fabric. They will not work well on 100% cotton fabric. Regular crayons are best used with 100% cotton or blends. I researched the difference when I was teaching a crayon quilt class. Loads of fun and wonderful using blocks that children have colored.

I didn't know that, Joan, but always used the 100% cotton. See, never too old to learn. Thanks for the info! :-) And children's art is just awesome.
