I have made several of these. They are huge! Holds lots of things. It was in a book called "Quilt Scraps."
I have the pattern that was in the book from a lady in Arkansas!

I saw this made up in a quilt shop probably 15 years ago and just loved it. They didn't have a pattern, but it was a class. Always loved the bag. Thank you for sharing the link. Now I just have to make at least one!

Thanks for sharing! I have to make at least one. It looks like it's large enough to hold everything but the kitchen sink.

I downloaded the same pattern a few days ago! I love it and seems simple to make

I made this bag a few years ago. I had an over abundance of FQs so I made the lining from them instead of a solid piece of fabric. I suggest when making the handles you make the shorter ones. Its a great bag for transporting quilts!

Thanks for sharing that pattern. I am excited to try that,

I am pretty sure I have the book this is in...it looks very familiar...but...I am saving the webpage here on my computer as a reference...just in case I am wrong...what a great bag...and way to use fat quarters.

Can someone help me to downsize this pattern? I love the picture, but I picture it being much smaller. I don't know whether to half the original pieces or what. I want the purse to be more of Mini Bow tucks size.
