Hi all,
I just wanted to pass along one of my favorite places to shop: http://www.desperatequilters.com/ Desperate Quilters have WONDERFUL fabric. Their regular prices are reasonable, and their clearance prices are unheard of. I just placed my third order with them last night. Less than an hour later, I had a confirmation that my order was packaged and shipped. They include a free pen, a free quilting pattern (printed from the internet) and a free tea bag (a sample from their inventory). Their $3.99 clearance section is habit-forming! Last week, I ordered from them on Saturday afternoon, and the order was in my mailbox on Monday morning. They are in Texas and I am in New York State. Give them a try. I highly recommend them. |
Thank you, I signed up for their newsletter!

Very nice site!
Nice indeed ...Thank you....:-)
Thank you! I looked at a fabric that I have two jelly rolls of, Fig & Plum, and will probably want some yardage of and it's only $7.50 per yard. Other places are $9.00 per yard.
Nice site. Just what I need. Another place to spend my money. Oh wait. What I meant to say is WOOO HOOO I love to spend my money on fabric.
Now that's fast! I placed the order last night and I got an email at 6:19 this morning saying that my order had shipped.
Oh, and the letter also said that they reduced my shipping from $9.85 to $4.80. That was for 7 yards of fabric. |
Hi Pam,
Yes ... the last order I placed ... the shipping was reduced also. I'm VERY pleased with this site, and the quality of the fabric as well as the customer service. :D |
I just looked at this site. What is in a "bundle"? The fabric is wonderful.
I just did some research online, and it looks like a "bundle" is about 40 fat quarters. If you are interested in one particular one, I would email and ask them exactly how many fat quarters are contained in the bundle. They are very prompt in replying.
Thank you for the info. There are so many different groupings of fabric. I love to get coordinated stuff.
I like the coordinates too. I just love to browse the Moda pre-cuts and think of designs for a collection.
I need to stop buying them and get to work on them! I have Aviary, Twiggy, Harvest Home, Portobello Market, Fig & Plum... that's all I can think of right now. I have designs ready for them all. I bought way too much of Portobello Market, 3 jelly rolls and 14 FQs. I used two of the jellies and 6 of the FQs in one quilt. I have the Book Nickel Quilts and there is a pattern in there where all of the 5" charms are cut down to 2 1/2" and under so... that's where that jelly roll is going along with the rest of the FQs for the backgrounds. |
thank you for sharing this great sight... :-)
That is a great site I will be going back. LOL
Thanks for sharing this site. It is a real boon for us European/international shoppers. They really provide excellent service for us.
