WAY cool!! We will be watching to see what she creates.
Whatever it is will be very valuable when she brings it back home.
Thanks for sharing the article with us.

Dr. Jan Davis was the first quilter in space. She took a quilt block with her on one of her missions. She was on Simply Quilts showing and discussing her quilt block.

Is there a link to Simply Quilts? Is it a website?

Simply Quilts was Alex Anderson's show on HGTV. Here is a link- just search for the topic you want. http://media.hgtv.com/HGTV/newslette...uilts/vol_001/

Episode QLT-552- the above link didn't really help.

I give up- I used to be able to go to the SQ site and get full episodes, but apparently not any more. Tried google- nothing but dead ends. Anyone else able to provide a direct link to the full episode?

It's quite interesting.

I searched and couldn't find it either. Thanks for trying Monroe.

Karen went to the same school I did. I graduated in 1957. She graduated in 1988.

Can't stop that creativity no matter where it is.

So cool.
I'll bet you could teach her a thing or two about quilting!
