FMQ gloves

I was wandering the aisles at Ace this am and I found thin "rubber" gardening gloves on sale-buy a pair for $3 and get another pair free. I use Machingers, but they are not available locally and mine are getting "worn"...so I splurged on these gloves, name on them is Digz, and I just finished FMQ'ing a table runner with them-worked perfectly!

Yes, I also use gardening gloves. They are thin rubber on the part that would touch the quilt and a stretchy fabric on the top. I got mine at BJ's. They are just fine.

I misplaced one of my machingers, so I've been using the cotton gardening gloves with the rubber dots. They work well for me--but I found my missing glove today--Yay!

I never can find gardening gloves in small to fit my hand size. I'll look for these at Ace and see if they fit. The Machingers fit like second skin and I don't have to take them off to change a bobbin or thread the machine.

I also like the Machingers quilting gloves, I've been using them for years. The gardening gloves make my hands sweat.

I have very tiny hands (wedding band is size 3) and can't find gloves to fit. If anyone knows where to get super small gloves I would love to know.

I use garden gloves that have the rubber on the palms...

Mine are from Ace, blue rubbery palms. I cut the finger tips off and the work just fine.
